Hotel Staubbach - Lauterbrunnen

Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi.

Hotel Staubbach provides simply furnished rooms with private or shared bathrooms. On the ground floor you can find a TV. Wine, beer and soft drinks are sold at the reception.

In the surroundings you can find many hiking paths leading to the 72 waterfalls in the area. Restaurants and shops are within a 5 to 10-minute walk.

The Jungfrau Ski region includes the resorts of Mürren Schilthorn, Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Grindelwald First. It offers 213 km of well-groomed ski slopes.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

To the hotel from the train station:
- leave the train station to the main street
- walk the main street uphill, continuing in the direction you have come by train, towards the Staubbach Waterfall.
- after 500 metres, you will see Hotel Staubbach on your left-hand side. (If you pass the church you have gone too far.)

You can also take the bus to the hotel (direction Stechelberg), which stops opposite the train station. Get off at the first stop and proceed for a few minutes on foot.

There are no taxis in Lauterbrunnen, but you can order a taxi in advance from Garage Gertsch in the next village.

Standard Double Room. With private bathroom and mountain views. ;
Simple attic room with Shared Bathroom (no elevator access). Room with a washbasin. The shared bathroom facilities are located in the hallway. This room is located in the attic, with a low ceiling and accessible only by a small stairway. Please note that maximum occupancy is 2 people. No extra beds, cots or people in existing beds are possible in this room type. ;
Quadruple Room. 2 interconnected double rooms, one of which contains the bathroom, the other room has a washbasin. The rooms provide mountain views. ;
Double Room with Balcony. This room features a private bathroom and a balcony. From inside the room there is a view of the town, and from the balcony there is a great view of the waterfall and a partial view of the valley. ;
Double Room with Balcony and Waterfall View. This room features a private bathroom and a balcony with unobstructed 180° panoramic views of the valley and the waterfall. ;
Quadruple Room with Balcony with Waterfall View. One double room (with two single beds pushed together to make a double) and one bunk bed room connected in the middle through an interconnecting door. In the double there is a bathroom, and in the bunk bed room there is a washbasin. Both rooms have a balcony and panoramic valley and waterfall views. Please note that maximum occupancy is 4 guests. No extra beds, cots or additional people in existing beds are possible in this room type. ;
Triple Room. (two single beds pushed together to make a double bed and a separate single bed) with mountain views and private bathroom. ;
Budget Quadruple Room. This room features a private bathroom and mountain views, without a balcony. There are two twin beds pushed together to make a double bed, and aof bunk beds. Please note that maximum occupancy is 4 guests. No extra beds, cots, or additional people in existing beds are possible in this room type. ;
Small Double Room with Balcony. This room features a private bathroom and a balcony with panoramic valley and waterfall views. This room is very small with only 1 chair and a small table. The bed is only 140cm wide and stands against the wall. No extra beds, cots or people in existing beds are possible in this room type. ;
Triple Room with Balcony and Waterfall View. Comprises a double room connected to a single room and a private bathroom located between the rooms. Both rooms have a balcony with panoramic views over the waterfall and the valley. ;
Twin Room with Balcony. En-suite room with two separate beds (on opposite sides of the room) and a balcony with a partial view of the valley and a nice view of the waterfall. ;
Bunk Bed Room with Shared Bathroom. Small room with a sink, a shared bathroom across the hall, panoramic valley and waterfall view, and a balcony. Please note that maximum occupancy is 2 people. No extra beds, cots or people in existing beds are possible in this room type. ;
