Hotel Alexander - Basel

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel.

The SBB Train Station is 7 minutes by tram from the hotel, and the Badischer Bahnhof Train Station is 3 minutes away. Basel-Mulhouse Airport can be reached in a 15-minute drive.

The booking confirmation serves as a public transportation ticket on the day of arrival, from the railway station SBB or Badischer Bahnhof or from the EuroAirport to the hotel.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Guests receive a BaselCard upon check in. This Guest Card includes complementary use of Public Transport within Basel City and surroundings (Zone 10, 11, 13, 14 & 15, including Euroairport), free WiFi, as well as discounts on admission to cultural and leisure activities. Please note that the public transfer (2nd class) from EuroAirport or Basel main train stations to the hotel on the day of your arrival is free of charge with your booking confirmation.

Guests arriving outside the official check-in time are kindly asked to press the night bell at the entrance. The night porter will do the check-in, please calculate a waiting time of 5 - 10 minutes.

Breakfast is offered at our partner hotel Rheinfelderhof on some days a 5-minute walk away from the property.
